Much Ado About Nothing by Shakespeare | Adapted by Robert Ramirez
Robert Ramirez’s ‘Ado’ inhabits an 18th century seaside Italian village where the citizens thrive on joy, melodrama, and tight community. In this large family of a town, high comedy can develop into high stakes drama, deep betrayal can lead to conditional forgiveness, and a raucous bacchanal party can be followed by a pious white wedding. Robert’s ‘Ado’ paints a landscape of humanity that encompasses a panorama of heightened emotion, one bold stroke of color at a time.
